Koeppel's writing is influenced by James Thurber, Monty Python and Mad Magazine.
 At times he fears his mind is being taken over by an Old English Sheepdog. Such experiences have been described in an ancient Egyptian papyrus
as "canine mind"*. While this is considered a sublime state, there is a danger of injury from chasing wheeled vehicles.
It is in this precarious condition that we find our author recording the antics of the Sixty-Pound puppy. |
